Louisiana Plantations
In addition to the historical quarters of New Orleans, a short trip outside of the city allows the visitors to get a glimpse of one of the darkest periods in the history of USA. Oak Alley and Laura Plantations used to serve as plantations where slaves were forced to work and live in unacceptable conditions.
